April, “The Last Night of the World” is an interesting story. One of the things that I’m noting as I read your essay, I’m discovering that it’s more of a summarizing/retelling of the tale rather than an analysis. An analysis tells us how Bradbury discusses the theme you’ve found within the story. And it tells us how Bradbury takes different elements of story and uses those elements to discuss that theme. You have explanation bits at the end of each paragraph. As you can see in this example (link), there needs to be more of you in between the textual examples. An analysis is less retelling and more making a point about how Bradbury does X while using examples to demonstrate how that plays out in the story.
