Show your partner that you intend a constructive agreement and focus on parts where you have a common opinion to build rapport. Inform your friend about what you respect in them while praising them but keeping it pure. Give your friend a chance to air their opinions then ask them relevant questions. Ask if you got the story perfectly after reflecting on it. Listen to your friend effectively, practicing good behavior such as maintaining eye contact, word focusing, and letting them give the whole story. One should display cultural sensitivity by adopting their own norms and beliefs first before learning others. Make sure that you respect your partner’s cultural background and make your judgments slow. Hold on your evaluations until you engage in a dialogue that gives you a way to express them with respect.
