Critical thinking skills
Critical thinking skills are very crucial for a group of people to work together. When members of a group have different vital and creative abilities, the results of their work are always great. Critical and creative thinking enables team members to ask essential questions and point out interesting facts as they can look at things from all angles. Asking questions allows them to identify solutions to problems and the possible consequences of each action taken. Effective communication also results from the presence of critical thinkers, that is, when members ask questions, it gives each and everyone a chance to share their thoughts.
The interaction of team members also contributes to personal development as the team members can learn from each other as they exchange experiences. Each team member can view things in other people’s perspectives with an open mind and evaluate situations without letting emotions get in the way. Viewing items from one’s perspective allows a person to investigate the issue objectively.
