There has been an issue with the management of virtual teams. Some factors are known to help and others to hurt  the performance of virtual teams, and they include:

Some elements enhance the performance of a virtual team, and they include: teamwork in communication, for the better performance, communication plays a major role in ensuring efficiency .this can be dined by recruiting and hiring qualified individuals, having a positive culture and making sure that there are right tools of communication. A virtual team succeeding depends on the state of leadership. If there are team support and better leadership, the virtual team is likely to succeed. The team or the organization should lead by adopting a culture that includes learning, embraces diversity, and teamwork. Virtual teams to succeed need to be capable of changing, and the leadership must be at the front in supporting the virtual team.

Factors that can hurt virtual teams’ performance include: poor communication, one of the major factors that lead to virtual teams underperforming is poor communication. Communication is essential in a virtual team environment or even in the physical sites. Communication needs to be right because poor communication hurts performance. Different cultures and language is another factor. Varied languages and cultures also affect performance by damaging the virtual team performance (Langer,2017). Teams with different cultural backgrounds may be damaged in their performance, and that element needs to be eliminated. Lack of virtual team corporation also has an adverse effect .an effective and efficient team needs to work and collaborate as one. Time zones are also an identified factor that hurts virtual teams, and different time zones are capable of causing differences and misunderstanding. There is a lack of sensory communication, and there team or teams may end up not understanding one another.

Some f the diversified industries it engaged in include automation, lighting, communication, transport, energy, and healthcare. The company managed to spread its operation n by setting up offices in strategic places in Germany, Asia, Europe, and America. He started by coordinating the top 26 levels between Argentina and Canada, which translated to coordinating the north and south America. The company faced stiff competition since many companies operate in the same industry. Deasey’s work was effective since the company saw it more uncomplicated to join due to the proper strategies it had, and the rival’s competitors did not affect the operations of siemens.

I think it was a good idea for the company to diversify its line of operation and production. It is generally accepted as a means to spread the risk as, and if one line in output fails, the other product will substitute the losses and vice versa. The company, by engaging in commerce internationally, is likely to enjoy benefits associated with international trade. Market diversification increases organizations’ revenue, which translates to profits . A good relationship with other countries is beneficial to an organization because they enjoy a better relationship, understanding, and bonding. Customer loyalty is improved, and there is a sense of pride since the locals will find the product as their own. The locals in the foreign countries are likely to be employed or even transferred to another country to explore, learn, and gain experience hence boosting the company’s outcome in production and quality improvement. The company can also outsource and insource to accomplish different assignments hence debase effectively and did her best for the company
