Democracy or democracy can be defined as the debilitated form of leadership where one has no power to make decisions and effective changes as it points at the use of majority power to decide and implement some of the crucial issues in the State. Fukuyama tends to describe the political statues of the United States of America as one of the democratic systems of government. This is simply because the American Constitution tend to protect the citizen’s rights through a plex system of checks and balance that was formed to limit the power of the president of the State. The constitution monitors the power of the president in various ways such as, the parliamentary system in which the principle of majority rule is applied (Graham & Svolik 2019). This system divides the power of the president with congress members who work independently without the wish of the head of state. The constitution also establishers judiciary, which monitors and regulates the power of the executives as it has the authority to question them and even sentence them when found guilty. The constitution also divides the congress into the upper and lower house, and the upper house has a lot of veto power as it confirms the appointments of executives, therefore, limiting the president ability to work or appoint people of their interest to work with, and also the authority to declare war or peace. All this privilege provided by the constitution limits the presidential power making it a symbolic sit hence declared as democracy

Fukuyama’s analysis criticized the democratic leadership in the United States of America is actually, it gives a clear illustration and contrary fact to denounce the political system twithought also looking at the advantageous things brought by the same form of government its censures. After looking at the advantages and shortcomings of the democratic form of government, I have concluded to disagree with him entirely. This is because of the advantages of the system of government over ways the downfalls. Some of the advantages include; The system protects individuals’ rights as it gives them freedom of participation in decision making through their representatives and also gives them the authority to choose leaders of their choice. It also promotes equality, and for example, it provides both the leaders and locals an equal chance in the decision making process and formulation of policies, changing of law through referendums. It also promotes responsibility among the citizens and the leaders as they are closely monitored by independent bodies and can be sued when found quilt. The Democratic system also creates change, and this is when elections are done regularly over a specified period, for example, five years, different leaders are elected or reshuffled to various positions developing new experience and taste (Mickey et al. 2017). The system also has some of the disadvantages, which include: Lack of protection for the local man, people in authority tend to be favored by the security urgent compared to the ordinary citizens, we find that they are assigned security guards by the government. There is also unfear participation in decision making as the principle of majority wins is applied; this also creates a sense of non-belonging by the minorities. The system also provides the divide and rule policy as it divides the states.

Democracy is considered more problematic and wastage of time, resources, and also the manpower in many democratic countries and the United States of America. But we find that the political system still exists and is being practiced in several countries, including America, greate Britain, and many others. The system has survived several series of challenges due to its rigidity and the strong foundation. Some of the reasons why it has to sustain severe tides of discrimination include; The system promotes equality among all citizens in the states practiced (Lieberman et al. 2017).  Democracy involves election process which ensures that every individual is free to contest for any post and also chose leaders based on the principle of one vote one man, it also guarantees equality in the sense that no one is above the law and that the judiciary is inderpentand has no connection with the other arms of government. The system also still exists because it promotes change in the states which many people are yearning for. The system provides regular free and fear election at every fiver years, and this injects new blood and knowledge into the government, creating different policies and strategies of the ruling.

The democratic system of government also a sense of care and responsibilities compared to other methods such as dictatorship. The leaders elected can be voted off at any time when they don’t complete their agender; this helps in keeping them on touse to do their work as promised to their employers who are the local citizens. Democracy also provides the judiciary which is capable of punishing leaders in case they are involved in the embezzlement of funds or the misuse of the office power given to them, this trains both he citizens and the leaders to more observant and to act ethically as expected by the constitution. Protection of Citizens’ interest is one of the factors which has led to the continued existence of the democratic system of government (Karl, 2019). These systems provide several independent bodies that monitor the conduct of those who are in government to prevent any dictatorial action to their subject. It provides the Judicial system which helps in the protection of human rights and freedom, It also involves the citizens in any constitutional changes through the demand of publication and also the right to participate in the referendum. This will enable citizens to chose how tobe ruled by directly being involved in the law-making process.

In conclusion, democracy has several impacts on the system of government in the United States of America. There are several advantages associated with this system of government. Some of the challenges includes the promotion of equity, change, and it also creates responsibility in leaders and the citizens and protection of citizens’ rights and freedoms. It also has several disadvantages, such as limiting presidential power and wastage of time in decision making (De Toqueville, 2019). The system has several advantages that overcome the challenges and hence should continuously be practiced by the state and other Countries.
