Developing sensitivity to different family cultural backgrounds, values and child rearing practices
I will just need a help from Research part which is Part 1. Need to focus on; -Ways in which that person is involved in cultural practices and expectations. (ie. Food, music, religious or cultural groups/ practices) -The kinds of issues that one has to deal with due to immigration to Canada or for example adopting. -Child-rearing and parenting practices common in country of origin (or family of origin) in comparison to Canada (or the current nuclear family) Specific differences between the county of origin and Canada -The role of religion in the child’s and family’s life in culture/country of origin -The family’s specific expectations for the child in that culture -Specific traditions and activities in country of origin or culture [unique_solution]-The roles of family members as compared to the role of those in the Canadian family, male and female gender roles.
