dialogue with my friend concerning the matter about abortion
The dialogue between two or more people involves the engagement of participants to in a conversation due to various reasons. Most people prefer a dialogue between two people in instances where they fear communicating even in small groups, or the matter at hand is very delicate. Each participant in the conversation has varying expectations due to different ideas and assumptions between them. These assumptions can refer to view about life, about individual lifestyle, religious beliefs, and political interests. Despite the existence of different expectations during the dialogue, participants should think about what action an individual can take or what life means to them.
In the case of the dialogue with my friend concerning the matter about abortion, the issue is conflicting between being a Christian and the reality of life. Christian culture is firm against abortion and gives dire warnings to believers who practice the sinful act. As a Christian, we follow God’s law as outlined in the Bible, which proves that He is the giver of life and the only one with the authority to take it. The scripture warns Christians against the killing of any form, and l believe doing abortion is a way of breaking God’s commandments. Also, abortion haunts the women who engage in the act and men who support abortion by living with cognitive, emotional, and spiritual scars.
As a Christian, I will ask my friend to join me in saying a word of prayer regarding the issue since God I the answer to our troubles, and He tells us to call upon Him, and he will answer us. Since she is considering having an abortion, which is against Christian beliefs and culture, I will talk to her against the idea and show her the demerits of abortion. For instance, women who have had abortions tend to lose the capability of carrying another child, it’s tormenting news to any woman. Another con for having an abortion is that it is against God’s laws, and as Christians, we believe breaking His rules is followed by dire implications in our life.
However, in reality, despite abortion being regarded as one of the domestic crimes in the world today, nearly 60 million unborn children are killed legally. In known scenarios, women who have practiced abortion claim of insufficient funds to raise the child or due to becoming pregnant at the wrong time. As a friend, I would encourage her to consult the father of the child before making any quick decision, not having an abortion. Even though the father is a married man and the leader of the church and the fact that he will fear his family will fall apart because he has a child outside wedlock, the man deserves to be part of the decision they make about raising or terminating the baby. I will also recommend her to talk to her parents on her condition to determine if they will support her in case the father of the child fails to support them. In my part, I detest the act of abortion, for it involves making irrational decisions for the unborn child. The women should relate the situation of the unborn children to that of if their mother decided to murder them during conception. Therefore, in this scenario, I will reconcile to be a Christian and a friend regarding the issue of abortion and actions to take.
