Secondly, natural disasters also appear to have a severe longer-term impact for economic growth, poverty reduction as well as development thus any book that describes the topic of natural disasters will be of great interest to me because it will enlighten me on the various ways through which I can be able to reduce the impact of natural disasters, it will enlighten me on the most appropriate actions which can be taken to ensure that even if the natural disasters occur they do not have long last impacts. Thirdly, any book written on mitigation of natural disasters will be of interest to me in the current study of economic disaster because it will equip me with skills that can be used in the development of a risk assessment plan. Obtaining a risk assessment plan will help me comprehend the process applied in the identification of the geographic as well as location extent of natural as well as human-caused hazards that are likely to affect a particular region (Erdelj & Natalizio,2016).
Knowledge of risk assessment will also help me identify the hazard impacts as well as the future probability of occurrence, thus ensuring that I can come up with the most appropriate actions which can be taken to mitigate the risks associated with the disaster. Another reason as to why I might any book written about the natural disaster to be of interest is because it will equip me with knowledge as well as skills that can be applied in disaster planning maintenance process. Having disaster planning skills is essential in the mitigation of any disaster; thus, any book that discusses this topic of interest to me.
