Education essay instructions
Hi professors! I need some help with a part of an online MA in education which is very unsupported and quite hard for a dyslexic elementary school to get her head around! This is the first time I′m using one of these sites so I hope my desсrіption is useful: There is a short piece of writing which I need to get done (only 500 words) and it needs to be packed with great references and explanation on what actually is practitioner research in an educational setting and what are the methodologies and methods. I have really tried to do the reading myself and its just not happening so I need your help! The previous task on this portfolio style module is already done and came back with decent enough feedback. I have to put together a research proposal.[unique_solution] The background reading and literature review were the previous task and I have attached it because it is key to this following piece. I have already outlined the study I want to do and now I need to say which methods I will be using and use solid grounding as to why. From what I can understand, I will be using action research and mixed methods. The structure of the piece of writing has already been outlined on the course handbook and is the following: Section 1: What are methodology and methods? What is practitioner research or practitioner enquiry? What is meant by research design / framework / approach? What are methods? (Data collection. Generating data. Generating findings) • How methodology underpins and supports methods • Include interpretivism and positivism • Include case study and action research Section 2: Methods How are you going to find out about your focus (methods)? What? – identify methods How? – explain how you will use the methods Why? – justify your choice of methods include alternate methods that you have researched and have discounted. Consider your choice of methods in light of your methodology and research questions. Sampling – a clear indication of who the participants in the research will be (numbers, roles, ages, gender, colleagues, students/pupils, parents/carers) and why they have been chosen. Section 3: Methodology Why are you going to find out about it like that (methodology)? What? – identify your methodology How? – explain how the methodology fits with your project Why? – justify your choice of X methodology rather than Y methodology Indicative Reference List: • List here all the sources you have used in your discussion of your methodology and methods above (Use EHU Harvard Referencing).
