In today’s society, no one in the world gets nowhere without acquiring an education. Being education acts as a driver to most great successes in life; hence it is right to claim that without knowledge, the society would be ignorant. If the society would channel resources and people be devoted in acquire education and spending less time out, then there would be no poverty in the society. So, education is very key in society today because of the more knowledge that people develop than, the more that society can do with the future. Education is important in society since it opens numerous opportunities in society.

Education helps people in society to acquire knowledge concerning everything in society. It facilitates learning and procuring of various skills. Additionally, it helps in understanding problems which surround and exist in society and equips us with skills of solving them for the betterment of society. So, society is the answer to the society’s past, present and the future. Research indicates that education is a successful toll which informs the community concerning everything which surrounds us. The modern society is as a result of acquiring education by putting hard work and being dedicated. In modern society, there exists certain values, rules in addition to regulations, traditions and norms which people only understand and follow guided by education acquired. Education helps in the development of confidence in people as well as assisting them in building a strong personality. In modern society, education equips one with skills of understanding and solving of issues which arise in daily lives.  For instance, research indicates that “literate people have better skills of handling issues better than the illiterate people in the society (Johnes et al., 335).”  In modern society, with skills, one has knowledge of analyzing a situation and making rational decisions and choices, which makes it easier for literate people to solve issues comfortably. Education helps in bringing discipline in people’s love and the life of those around them. Education helps in the promotion of peace on modern society. Education equips people with skills, knowledge and attitudes which help in the promotion of peace. In the education sector, there is the development of conflict-sensitive education plans and policies which equip in modern society with the right skills of addressing peace issues. These interventions entail carrying out of conflict analysis in the education system and structure. Through education, people are taught how to identify drivers of conflict and village in society. Consequently, this helps in the development of a concrete and a realist intervention which helps in leveraging of peace in the society through education.

Education is essential in modern society since it helps people in discovering new opportunities for peace and prosperity. Education has turned the world to be a global village where people have the opportunity of finding jobs and securing a bright future. It serves as a substantial impact on the employment prospect. “On overage in the OECD nations, 80% of the people that have acquired tertiary education are employed (Ma et al., 124).” Hence, it is right to claim that education opens doors.  Education opens doors by present opportunities of learning new skills and meeting new people where people share ideas and develop new concepts. For the people, education opens up a pool of opportunities in addition to reducing the burden of disease and poverty where it gives a great value to the society. For the nations, it opens the door for economic and social prosperity which is driven by the literate population and the well-informed citizens who become competitive in the global arena. In society, education becomes the difference between a life of living in poverty and the potential of a full and secure experience. For instance, education equips one with skills and knowledge, which helps in preventing a child’s death from any preventable disease and enables people to raise their families in a safe and healthy environment. Still, education has a decisive influence on people’s abilities in finding and keeping jobs, their capacity of taking part in society. It also positively impacts people’s social status and self-esteem, family relationships and increases the ability of parents in helping their children through school. “Educated people have high chances of getting well-paying jobs, where they earn more and have an influence on society by being productive in the locale economy and the community at large. Further, education equips one with skills and knowledge which offers them the surest route into the workplace and prosperity. This helps in eradication of causes of poverty and decisions in modern society.

Education has a great impact on technological development and information. Technological progress and advancement is credited to skills and knowledge that are gained through education. This technology has a great impact on modern society since everything in the world today is dependent on education. Hence, one can say that technology development and advancement through education has made modern society a better place. Additionally, it has enables different nations to live together in harmony and peace.On the other hand, education is important in modern’s society since it helps people to stand up against what is wrong and to stand for what is right. Educations are helping in lowering crime rates because the literate people have the ability to differentiate between what is right and what is wrong. Research indicates that “increment in high school competition rates by the only 2pecent for all the people between the ages of 15 years to 60 years will help in saving the US almost $.4 billion annually which is spend in reducing crime rates (Prajapati et al., 5).” Further, acquiring education in modern society facilitates one in having a healthier lifestyle. Educated people tend to have higher life space and a better lifestyle. An example is a study that was done in central European OECD nation which indicated that “30-year-old tertiary education individual has high chances of living for 80 years as compared to a 30-year-old uneducated man. Moreover, education helps in empowering people in modern society. Educations help one in turning weaknesses into strengths. It gives one confidence in standing for themselves and improving one’s decision-making capabilities. “Education allows women to stand up against any marital violence in societies with gender biasness.

In conclusion, education is essential in modern society. Education helps in the creation of awareness, helps one in having the confidence of standing against what is said to be wrong and what is right. Additionally, it opens different opportunities for people to explore and work on their future. It helps one in living a healthy lifestyle since one gains the necessary skill and knowledges of ensuring safety.  When one acquires education, they tend to be more productive with leads to the societal and economic property. Further, education has helped in the development of technology and information, which makes the society a better place. Hence one can conclude that education is essential in the society.
