Emotions do indeed play a significant part in effective advertising campaigns; studies have shown that emotionally exciting events do create influential memories in the minds of people. According to Zhang et al., 2014, these kinds of memories are motivating me to take action into the importance of emotional advertising. I realize vividly that robust emotions in advertising can always drive people to make some expensive buying or probably make some donation to a cause. It is not surprising that the fundamental goal of most marketers is to blow into the emotions of their customers to make good sales.

Some contemporary researchers suggest that there are six universal emotions that we all feel, happiness, anger, sadness, disgust, surprise, and fear.  We should be aware that emotional advertising is something challenging to do right, so marketers usually tend to focus on impressions, conversion rates, bounce rates, and bids and forget about the emotional appeal in the advertising (Niazi et al., 2012). I realized that ads that carry strong emotions regularly go viral and do produce amazing results, so here are some of my tips on how one can make emotional advertising.

First, you can make a list of the benefits that your products are providing and create a customer survey to see what they believe the benefits are. You can also check on what your key competitors are running, mostly when they are using emotional marketing. Therefore, you can take on their ideas and work better on them. Lastly, I can encourage you to link your psychological benefits with an image, and this should mean that the picture should reflect the emotional values of the statement (Bruno et al., 2017). Emotions are one of the key reasons why people often desire to use your products of a particular brand.
