Consumptions of areas greater than the areas used as farmland by desertification have remained a problem in china. Although land pollution has been dealt with in some areas, it is still spreading at a highly alarming rate over the years, as approximately 30% of the entire country’s surface is desert. Rapid growth in industrialization could always be the cause of desertification over the decades (Smil (2015). Furthermore, an increase in manufacturing has caused various forms of pollution, increasing health, and environmental problems. A lot has been done regarding the build-up of pollutant treatment and ecological regulations, which has caused improvement in some quarters. Environmental issues are also affected negatively by rising and more substantial population growth in previous decades, even though a policy of one child has been put in place to curb surge in population.
