The environmental risks education enlightens parents about three major strategies that should be applied to minimize threats to the infant’s life. The first strategy entails the creation of various projects and community initiatives that deal with environmental risk (Marotz, 2014). Alot of harmful insects reside in water bodies such as dams and fish ports. Community initiatives ensure that there are programs to spray chemicals into the water bodies to kill malaria larvae and other organisms that impose a threat to human lives.

The community initiatives also entail the provision of adult and specialized educational training to illiterate parents so that they are acquitted with the knowledge to understand basic health issues. According to the assignment video, a lot of medical mistakes were made since the patients were illiterate and were incapable of understanding doctor directives or read documents before making decisions. The education program will enable such individuals to gain knowledge on handling environmental risks, understanding health issues and make decisions that promote their children’s well-being (Lundgren & McMakin, 2018) The other reason to ensure thathe infants are nurtured in a safe environment involves usage of clean fuels that do not produce toxins or harmful by-products. Parents are also educated on how to balance and regulated the environment to eliminate health risks.

Parent is also educated on various ways of conducting simple health assessments on the young ones to determine their health status to ensure appropriate steps are taken in case there is an emergency. A lot of parents has made wrong decisions due to lack of knowledge to identify the kind of attention their children require.
