Ethical approach in the execution of the research process
The various tasks accomplished actions in ensuring the ethical approach in the execution of the research process. These include minimization of risk, seeking consent, protection of confidentiality and anonymity, asking permission, and office legal protection to the respondents. In minimizing the risk of harm, the research must ensure the process does not expose the participants to harm or psychological or physical discomfort, distress, social advantage, and infringement of privacy. There must be an arrangement, and such incidences must have strategies of cushioning the participants (Burgess, 2005; Harris,1988).
Secondly, the researcher must seek informed consent forms as a fundamental basis for any research ethics. In the ways, the roles of participants will highlight information about the project, including purpose, methodology, and possible outcomes(Sanjari et al.,2014).
The action a researcher must undertake involves protection of anonymity and confidentiality of the research participants in ensuring the private and sensitive information volunteered by the participants protected. The researcher must commit to holding the information with the utmost confidence. However, the research must seek permission when disclosing any form of confidential information.
Similarly, anonymity and confidentiality are enhancing through the removal of unique identifies, including vernacular terms, names, or geographical pointer in the data collection tools, including questionnaires and interview questions for the case of this study-data transformation in telecommunication sector (UHI,2020). The fourth action by the research must ensure integrity and confidentiality through avoidance of deceptive practices, which contradicts the spirit of informed consent.
Last but not least, the researcher must ensure justice uphold for respondents through granting them the right to withdraw at any stage of the research process. In situations, for example, expect covert observational as it is not feasible to tell everyone observed the purpose of the study.
In the data communication study, the researcher must sign the consent form in giving their respondents highlight of the researcher. Their roles, rights to justice, commitment to the privacy and security of their private and confidential information, and assurance that the data collection tool will not require unique identification and any supplied by mistake will deleted during data cleaning and analysis.
