Administrators and public policymakers are obliged to make cautious decisions while handling matters related to poverty tourism using suitable plans to ethics and morality. The ultimate course, however, should be to aid the poor in terms of food and education. Approaches such as engaging and seeking approval of the poor citizens can enhance administrative processes involving tourism. Subsequently, policymakers should develop comprehensible models of amassing tourism resources and channeling them into courses aimed at diminishing poverty. It is, however, essential that administrators establish these policies carefully to avoid injuring the moral and ethical relationships existing between locals and tourists as well as the policymakers.
Liberal and Libertarian Approaches to Poverty Tourism
Both civic policymakers and their public administrator counterparts portray liberal as well as libertarian techniques in poverty tourism matters. On the one hand, libertarian policymakers exhibit little interest in the benefits associated with poverty tourism, such as levy. Their moral argument on taxation, for instance, lets tourism benefits go tax-free provided the security of a tourist is guaranteed, yet such benefits would have helped the poor. On the contrary, liberal administrators take into account the benefits and drawbacks that come with poverty tourism; hence, they act within the moral and ethical regulations to protect both parties and ensure the poor gain from the program.
