• Did the speaker seem committed to the topic?

Yes, Ashley was focused on the topic and did not deviate at any moment. Her topic was clear from the start, and the main ideas were in support of the topic.

• Did the speech fulfill the specifics of the assignment?

Ashley fulfilled most of the requirements for the assignment except for the length of the video, and I think she could have done better with the transitions. There is a part in the video where she pauses for quite some time like she had forgotten her content.

• Was the purpose of the speech clear?

Ashley’s purpose of the speech was clear. In the speech, she describes herself as an introvert and gives examples of some of her experiences interacting with people. She calls on introverts to have a sense of belonging, and she concludes by stating that it is ok for everyone to accept who they are.

• Was the topic handled with imagination and freshness?

Yes, Olivia’s ideas were fresh and inspiring. As an introvert myself, there are often I have felt like a misfit, but I found the speech encouraging.

The speech was relatable and easy to follow. The only challenge that I encountered was in identifying the transitions.

Yes, the main points are well articulated. Ashley’s main points involved describing her life as an introvert during different stages of growing up.

Yes, Ashley’s conclusion is memorable since she excellently covers the topic and makes a call to action while maintaining eye contact.
