This project can include what the traditional means of what the event experience use to be whilst incorporating the transition of demographic generations, whilst also, focusing on how this new demographic cohort become accustomed to the new world of the event experience through the use of technology including the supporting and opposing arguments of the reasons for and against virtual reality taking over the event experience. Project Overview to gain an insight in the events industry by understanding the possible consumer benefits provided from technological advancements within the event experience.[unique_solution] The researcher will survey event professionals that are owners and or employees of numerous nightlife and hospitality event businesses. Also, the current industry consumers. A quantitative survey approach which is making use of a mix of quantities and qualitative questions will be adopted to elicit responses from participants. This information will be gathered and made accessible to participants in which they will need to complete (via Survey Monkey) to gather information from numerous consumers or industry professionals. This will be emailed to participants to allow a greater of responses from a wider spectrum of event company owners and employees. To gain a greater reach I will also be using social media to promote a series of questions including; a). Open answer questions and b). Set answer questions (e.g. polling system).
