- A clear definition of a global health challenge (within local, urban, rural or remote communities in Canada (student’s choice) with statistics on the incidence and prevalence in the chosen context. Topic: Childhood Obesity in Canada

- A description of the most common and/or most relevant challenges that clients and/or communities face because of this health challenge.
- A critical analysis of the impact of historical and political influences and/or policy on the health challenge.

- A conclusion
The paper must be written in APA format, including a title page and references. Do not include an abstract or table of contents. The body of the paper must be organized into paragraphs, with appropriate headings. The paper should be between 7-8 pages long (excluding the title page & reference page).
Paper Process:
1. Select a topic:
Select a global health challenge within Canada that is of interest to you. Prior to finalizing your topic, you may wish to search the literature first to see if the health challenge has sufficient peer reviewed articles.
2. Research and select journal articles as well as appropriate, online sources (websites, blogs) related to the topic you have chosen.
Begin to research your topic (you may choose to check the topic with your instructor). You must use a minimum of six (6) relevant articles from peer-reviewed academic journals as references for your paper. To ensure that these articles are current, they must have been published in 2010 or later. Journal articles should be a minimum of 3 pages and at least one of the articles should provide epidemiological information on your topic (e.g. incidence & prevalence).
