Overview
The purpose of this assignment is to explore the world of personality tests. Your first job is to find take two (2) personality tests. You may use any personality tests that you would like. There are many freely available on the web, in magazines, etc. You will then write a paper describing the tests that you took.
What to include in your paper
- Introduction
- What is personality? (2 points)
- Name the two personality tests that you took, and where you found them. (2 points)
- The personality tests
- Describe both personality tests that you took. Be sure to include each of the following in both descriptions:
- What kind of questions did the personality test ask you? What were your options for answering those questions? (2 points)[unique_solution]
- What did the test say about your personality? (Don’t just copy-and-paste the results; instead, describe the results in your own words.) (3 points)
- Do you agree with the personality test results? Why or why not? (2 points)
- Conclusion
- Describe your overall impression of both personality tests:
- For each test, did you feel that it was a valid test of your personality? Why or why not? (2 points)
- For each test, what could be changed that might improve the test in some way? (2 points)
- Which personality test did you think was an overall “better” test? Why? (2 points)
- Make sure that your paper is neat, organized, easy-to-read, and free of spelling/grammar errors. (3 points)
Miscellaneous information
- This paper is worth 20 points. Please see previous section for distribution of these points.
- When you have completed your paper, please submit it to D2L. Click on “Assignments”, then upload your paper to the folder titled “Written Assignment 3”.
- Make sure that your paper is saved in a .doc, .docx, or .pdf format. This is important to ensure that the TAs will be able to open your paper. Papers submitted in a different format will not be accepted for grading.
- The paper is due by Thursday, April 4 at 11:59 pm. No late papers will be accepted.
