Features of the new Redmi 8A Dual
Chinese and cheap mobiles are not what they were, with them today you can do 90% of the things you expect in the day to day of a mobile phone, with excellent finishes, acceptable design, and many times with features of mobile phones usually more expensive. In the case of the Redmi 8A, the cheapest mobile of Xiaomi, if we missed something, it was a dual camera. Well, the Chinese firm has realized this and has now launched a new version of this phone called Redmi 8A Dual, which finally has a camera of this type. We tell you all the details and their characteristics.
Features of the new Redmi 8A Dual
This new phone from the Chinese arrives with a unique finish on the back, which prevents our fingers from leaving any mark with daily use, something to be appreciated on many occasions. We find the same original phone, although in this case, with a dual camera that did not have this. This now has two sensors, one of 13 megapixels and another of 2 megapixels next to a flash LED. Therefore it will soon be easier to make portraits with the camera of this terminal.
For the rest, we have the same features of the original model, such as the 6.22-inch screen with HD + resolution and water drop-shaped notch, where an 8-megapixel sensor is housed that also supports facial unlocking since it does not count With a traditional fingerprint reader. The processor it offers is a Snapdragon 439, more than enough for the performance that its owners expect in their day-to-day tasks. It comes in two versions, with 2GB or 3GB of RAM, as well as with 32GB of internal storage expandable via cards.
It comes quite complete connectivity, with FM Radio, Wi-Fi 802.11 b / g / n 2.4G, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS / AGPS / Glonass / BeiDou. The battery still has a huge size of 5000mAh, which, together with the characteristics of its datasheet, can take us two or three days of autonomy in its normal use. This battery is compatible with fast 18W charging and comes with a USB Type-C connector for charging. Its dimensions are 156.48 x 75.41 x 9.4 mm, and it weighs 188 grams.
It arrives with MIUI, although we don’t know precisely the Android version. At the moment, it has been on sale only in India, where it is available in three colors, Sky White, Sea Blue, and Midnight Gray. There the basic version of 2GB of RAM is put up for sale for about 83 euros, while the one with 3GB of RAM is priced at 89 euros at the exchange. It is possible that as has happened with the first generation of this mobile, it arrives soon to Amazon in Spain, where it is sold. However, Xiaomi does not officially distribute it in our country.
