Forensic Scientist
The authors of “Everyone Lies,” Margaret Murphy and Professor Dave Barclays propounded in their novel that “We can all see, but can you observe?” This quote represents forensic science for me. It brings out the keenness and skill that every forensic scientist should embody. Therefore, no ordinary person can be a forensic scientist. This because ordinary people see and forensic experts observe. Ever since I read their book, forensic science has always stuck with me. These are world-famous thriller novel writers, who not only compel most of the world to understand their excellent crime booksbut also compelled me to love the art and concept, which is forensic science. Therefore, for me, there is no other career path I want to follow. The attention to detail and the professionalism that encompass forensic science is magnetic to my mind. . There are four main reasons why I decided to choose forensic science. First, as already mentioned in the paragraph above, passion. My passion and curiosity for forensic immediately began when I l read, “Everyone lies” by Margaret Murphy and Dave Barclays. Their wonderfully explained plot of crime mystery, and the law was just captivating. The fact that forensic scientist was the crime solvers was just overwhelming. Besides this novel, my passion for forensic science sparked due to my love for crime-solving in my local town. My town is quite small, and when deaths occur, they take a very long time to be solved. Therefore, I would want to bring a change at home. So those criminals who cause havoc here arepunished, as fast as possible, and avoid spreading terror. My second reason for choosing forensic science is y academics. I am an excellent student in all my sciences, whichare physics, biology, and chemistry. As far as I know, forensics science embodies the concepts of all the sciences I am good at. Hence, in as much as the course would be challenging, it will not be hard for me. Thirdly, I am a staunch believer in the law. Personally, the law is just, and everyone should be entitled to the fairness of justice. Aristotle once said, “It is in justice that the ordering of society is centered.” Therefore, through forensic science, crimes are solved, and justice is delivered, and society is happy. My fourth reason in choosing forensic science is the fact that there is no forensic expert in my family, and being the first would make myself proud of myself and consequentially set a trail for my next generation.
The purpose of this graduate study is to acquire skills in the many federal enforcement agencies in our country. My main aim is to develop more keen skills and to develop the forensic world in the best way I can.
