Introduction

The case, in this case, will try and highlight how they FYRE failed as per the expectation of the people. The case will also highlight some of the possible events that transpired to the failure of the Fyre Festival. The other thing that will be discussed in this case is how the team locals were affected by this project that failed due to poor management. The other thing that will be described in this case is how the Fyre team was unable to attract a broad audience. This are some of the problems that led to the failure of the project.

Another thing that will be highlighted in this case is the necessity of documenting a project as well as an evaluation of the project. Without this, the project will completely fail as it happened for the festive. The other thing that will be discussed is the possible errors that were brought about by the group members.

Literature review

In this case, it can be noted that the fyre festive was all about the group error. It was not something that was caused by a natural disaster. The members that organized this project contributed positively to its fatal fall. One of the critical things to consider in this case is the fact that humanmade disasters are the same as natural disasters. The festive in this caused a great catastrophe as people were unable to determine how it came to happen. In the natural disaster, 0nje cannot determine the magnitude of the problem, but in this case, it is easier to assess the damage since it is the humans who will take part in the fall of the project.

To state with, the Fyre Festival was one of a kind as it was a piece of luxury music which was hosted by Billy McFarland as well as rapper JA rule. The event was meant to take place on April 28-30 and May 5-7, 2017. The project team announced the project that it was going to take home, and immediately, they went to social media to advertise the project.  It rose on social media platforms, and people were able to see it as it gained a better market strategy. The project team e promoted the project through the use of social media such as Instagram by some of the key players such as Bella Hadid, Kendall Jenner, and Emily ratajkowski. The project received a positive impact from the people since the management had done better work. But one thing that came is the fact that during the festive some problems arose.  One of the issues that came up was the lack of better artists that had been advertised, lack of proper security, lack of appropriate security, and medical services. The project team had not taken their time well to consider how this problem will be handled. The critical concern, in this case, is that the project team never took their time to analyze how the project will be affected and how it will affect the people. They did not consider some of these demographics and how they were likely to create an impact on the people. They just focused on the better side of the project, which was to gain profit. It is why the project was canceled on the first day after it kicked. The project team would not take it anymore, as many people attended the festive. Thousands of people had a tended the project, and they had no better of getting home since they were stuck on the island.

The other thing is that the project team had a better understanding of how to conduct the project. They had better knowledge that through involving top models and top musicians, then the people would be lured to buy the tickets. It is the same thing that happened in this case where they used a video of top models dancing around the bonfire. This was an indication that the project would become successful, making thousands of people purchasing the tickets. In the part of project documentation, it was well done, which made it easier to draw thousands of people into the island. They had a natural understanding of their target and how best they will use their expertise to come up with something that makes people purchase the tickets. Here the tickets were very expensive because they knew the impact of the project and how it will affect the people. The cheapest ticket went for $500, and the highest went for $100000.

The project team, in this case, failed in most instances as they were unable to plan the project well. The other key areas that they did not document well was the fact that they never paid anything to the musician who was to take part in the project. They were left without anything to motivate them, which made them cancel the project a day. The other thing is that the project team never planned their activities as the venue was later shifted to a different one. The people that arrived for the festival were given alcohol to drink for the next hours as the local people helped to prepare the grounds. The project team, in this case, had promised the people one of the most luxurious events where they would be hosted in mansion nates, but to their surprise, they were organized in a ground that had no better equipment. There were no festive equipment’s as well as the event planners were nowhere to be seen.

Another problem that, as experienced in this case, was the fact that the festival grounds were not safe at all. That night, it rained heavily, which made it difficult for the people to contain. The tents that had been placed were blown away by the storm, and the people were left with nothing to protect them from the rain. Many people here had no food, water, and others were locked in the airports. Some of the people fainted and were rushed to the hospital. The project was, therefore, a failure because of poor planning from the members. They were not able to arrange their things despite charging the people too expensive. The project team, in this case, would have come up with few artists to take part in the project whom they would maintain. The other thing is to set a come up with a small number of people that would be manageable. The other thing is to give people what they have advertised.
