For example, in the past, discrimination, lack of money, and immigration, among other issues, were prevalent. Qatar’s youth generation Z is unable or able to succeed like their parents’ generation because of issues like strictness from their parents and the internet, which had strongly affected their behavior. Qatar’s youth generation Z can financially succeed just like their parents because of the increased life and career opportunities in the current world. There are a lot of opportunities throughout this generation. Media is an excellent example of an open opportunity for this new generation to earn money. There could be teenagers trying to advertise their small companies or even do what they like in front of a camera, and they would make money quickly. The most popular activity known to earn money online is dancing and cooking. Some people even earn money by posting idiotic jokes called ‘memes.’
Furthermore, the youth generation Z in Qatar have lineage connections, that offers them job opportunities or referral for job vacancies. Therefore, they are less likely to undergo frustrating hustles to acquire jobs. It’s easier to get connections now than back then since, in the past, most people could hardly get jobs, but today, a considerable measure of the generation is employment. Therefore, Qatar’s youth generation Z is most probably going to be even more successful than their parents.
On the other hand, Qatar’s youth generation Z might not be as financially successful as their parent. Currently, parents are not as strict as the parents in the past generation. The parents today have allowed a higher measure of freedom to their children, less stringent on what they do, which friends they associate with, and what content they watch on the internet or televisions, thus, making them lazy and uncontrollable. More so, today’s generation has been highly influenced by peer pressure, For example, uninspired people pressure others with their ignorant ideas, leading the privileged people to fall into the wrong tracks and lose their success track. Moreover, in the past, the parents to generation Z worked hard to acquire wealth and associate themselves with a particular class in society. However, today, generation Z assumes their parents’ financial stability is their portion; hence, they are reluctant to working hard to achieve their financial status. That is why most of Qatar’s youth generation Z will not be as financially successful as their parents.
In conclusion, Qatar’s youth generation Z has the opportunity to be more financially successful as their parents since today, technological advancements have created a lot of opportunities for them to grow and expand economically. Therefore, generation Z youths in Qatar should be more focused on their capabilities and chasing their goals as well. The internet is useful when used wisely, but can as well destroy a youth’s life. Thus, parental guidance is paramount in this case. Lastly, Qatar’s youth generation Z should be more vigilant and grab the opportunities laid ahead of them to become more than what their parents were and what they are today.
