Global Warming effect on World Climate Change

The global climate has gradually changed over the decades, especially on the global temperatures that are acceleration at a faster rate than ever experienced. According to The Guardian( 2018), on climate change, there is a need to curb the acceleration of the global warming temperatures in up to 1.5 degrees Celsius. The intergovernmental panel that has been assessing the situation believes that for those temperatures to be limited, they will have to incorporate far-reaching measures, unprecedented changes, and rapid to be exercised on all life aspects. The panel believes that a small difference in temperatures can prevent the eradication of corals as well as easing the pressure mounted on the Arctic.

The primary cause associated with global warming includes gas emissions and other air pollutants that absorbs solar radiation and sunlight that prevents such radiation from bouncing back (Macmillan, 2016). In normal situations, the sun radiation escapes to space, where the air pollutants trap the heat, the planet heat increases, thus resulting in unprecedented climate changes, also referred to as the greenhouse effect. Also, as most countries indulge in industrialization for economic competitiveness, they mainly forget to balance the significant industrialization impacts on the environment.  For instance, the coal-burning plants and the transport sector are the major causes of carbon pollutants. In research in the United States, the two sectors generate carbon emission to about 1.7 billion tones (Mufson, 2020). With such knowledge, there will need to curb the situation by a vast range of emission reduction and in formulating alternatives requirements of fossil fuels globally.

Also, in a report on the United States emission reduction, it states that between 2005 and 2014, the rate of air pollution has decreased immensely through the formulation of energy-efficient technology that uses clean fuels (Mufson, 2020). On the same, scientists are still trying to come up with new ideas of modernizing the power plants and the emission of less gasoline in the automobile as part of the solution for global benefit. For instance, a scientist like Elon Musk, through technology, he is trying to generate automobiles that use non-pollutants as one way to curb environmental pollution (The Guardian, 2016). Therefore, through his effort, it means that if scientists and environmental stakeholders come together and brainstorm, there is hope that they can find a lasting solution to the problem.

As global warming has a link with extreme effects on the environmental changes, the effects have shifted in other areas of concern, such as the economic and health sectors (Isaev et al., 2017). For instance, in the health sector, allergies and infectious diseases are common, while diseases such as asthma have been caused by high rates of air pollution.  The significant effects on the economy involve the destruction of forests, flooding, and pest invasion that are destructing activities, especially in farming and fisheries.

Therefore, as global warming continues to pose a significant danger to the environment, there is a need for all stakeholders to unite and come will appropriate mitigation mechanisms. As individuals, we are also responsible for ensuring that we stop global warming by purchasing equipment that does not pose a great danger to our environment by ensuring that they meet the required standards.
