Beelzebub is trying to instil that Adam is liable to ensure he achieves destruction through using his powers. On the other hand, Adam is concerned about how he will perform a successful stoppage towards destruction. In the process, he is destructed in his thoughts until he realizes, Beelzebub is determined in this pursuit. The sentences indicate an individual who has resolved on ensuring that despite the destiny he holds, he will not use it against the world. At one point, he reflects on how the future will be celebrated with technology and human beings’ achievements. He has had disappointments when his group, Them, is making efforts to fight with the four horsemen. Adam understands his power towards causing destruction, but he is calm in ensuring that he stands for justice. The sentences indicate the gap between evil and right from the two groups in addition to the position Satan takes. From the start, Satan suggests to Adam that he is his father. However, the actions and decisions towards causing harm to the rests do not entice Adam to relate with him (Pratchett and Gaiman, 2011). Instead, when Satan attenuates that he should cause destruction, he does not. Instead, he walks away and leaves Satan in disgusts that Adam does not heed to him. The passage implies that it is essential to stand out amidst in trying to bring out positive outcomes. In a world where people are concerned about their success, growth, and moving forward, there should be one person standing out from the good of all. Also, despite the division in the groups, Adam is concerned about not destroying the whole team. He disregards his powers even when challenged by the foes to sue it for their benefit. However, he restrains himself from ensuring that everybody survives. He gets infuriated when addressing Satan since his course is towards the right in the same earth that he anticipates.
In the day to day life, it is easy to forget about the more significant concern, positivity. There are overwhelming demands in career and personal experience that drain the energy. In most cases, one laments towards the pitfalls of failure and forgets to view the simple things that bring positivity. Besides, it is not about being highly endowed but upholding the significance of what brings happiness and joy. It is the focus that brings bliss in life that matters more. It is not the battles that one has to conquer, but the positivity that one day all things will be well. There are demands in the society that push one to meet and forget that their life matters. It is essential not to consider personal joy before fulfilling the societal pressures.
The world is concerned about what can provide for their benefit, which is acceptable in being helpful. It is essential to be part of the society by creating relationships with the people. However, it is not fair to get drained by the same people in the name of meeting their demands. Hence a consultation with self on how to handle personal and public life should be considered. When the rest of the community is competing in winning in evil, it is crucial to stand out for positivity.
