A good problem for a case study

Robson & McCartan, in their book Real World Research “Hoboken, NJ: John Wiley & Sons 2016” is a book that clearly states the appropriate and necessary steps when conducting a case study. The two authors explain the importance of looking into social life, social systems, and personal experience as they are essential in case studies. According to the two authors, case studies help shape the world in addition to how problems can be effective and efficiently solved. According to the book, previous studies focus more on evaluating issues or problems, and there is a need for change or more actions. Hence a good problem in case studies should, therefore, give room for actions and changes were necessary (Robson & McCartan, 2016). The book goes further to explore scientific means or methods of solving problems and highlights the advantage associated with it. A case study with a good problem statement should be conducted using either quantitative or qualitative social approaches.

A good problem for consulting

Keller & Alsdorf, in their book Every Good Endeavor “Connecting Your Work to God’s Work, 2014,” is a book that explains the importance of connecting your work to God. The author of this book highlights that the most appropriate and efficient ways to serve God in our endeavors are to ensure that there is social justice in everything that we do. In addition, we all should be honest as well as evangelizing our colleagues and also be skillful and do excellent work. Creating beauty in our work should be the main goal of everything that we all do. To serve God effectively, we should also work or consult from the basis of Christian values or motivations so as to glorify the Almighty, also seek to engage as well as influencing our culture (Keller & Alsdorf, 2014). The best way to serve God is also to do what brings a lot of joy and happiness in our lives. The authors, therefore, highlight that the best problem in consulting is that it allows Christian values and actions that glorify God in the work that we all do.
