Growth and Development in Kids
Introduction
In human development, many changes occur during their lifetime. These changes contribute to a gradual increase in body organs; thus, growth is inhibited. Throughout the early stages of development, birth to three years, some physical, Cognitive, and psychosocial development are portrayed in kids. These changes typically take place during kid teenagers. The different kinds of development in kids, therefore, enhance growth and development. The paper examines the kids’ teenage development between birth to three years.
Early development is inhibited by the factors and the mode of rearing the child get themselves in. To begin with, physical development, which is the observable change that takes place in the child’s age. During this period, the child learns how to control his/her muscles and make some movements. The kid learns to control his/her head followed by arms then lastly learn to move legs. After these developments, ‘ child learn to kick (Capello, 2019). Later on, the child begins to walks. At two and a half years, the child can run.
The second type of development in kids’ teenage is Cognitive development. Cognitive development is the ability to process information; these developments are brought about through brain development. During the first three years of growth, a child begins to make different identifications around their environments. The child explores things in different ways, which include shaking, banging, and the ability to throw.
Thirdly the psychosocial development is also exposed during the first three years of development in kids. Psychosocial development involves the ability to understand that people’s conduct is founded on their skills and needs (Nijkamp, 2019). During the early stages of growth and development, the child began to observe people’s decisions keenly.
Conclusion
In kids’ early stage of development, it is therefore evident that the development changes that occur during this stage are significant to body changes. As discussed, physical changes such as body movements are understood to facilitate movement and interaction in the child. Therefore, these development changes are essential to the child’s development.
