Hard hit Spain has experienced another day of heavy losses
Spain’s Prime Minister warns that it is getting worse even in the country badly affected by coronavirus.
In order to ease the pressure on the hospitals in the capital, the Ifema exhibition center has almost immediately been transformed into a field hospital that can accommodate 5,500 patients.
A sharp increase in the number of coronary deaths continues in Spain.
On Sunday, the country’s Ministry of Health announced that nearly 400 people with coronary heart disease have been confirmed dead in the past 24 hours. It is the highest number of deaths recorded in Spain in a single day.
The total number of corona deaths in Spain thus rises from 1326 to 1720.

The number of confirmed cases of infection has increased from 24,926 to 28,572.
The Coronavirus has made its entry into the southern European country in recent weeks. The number of both infected and deaths has multiplied, and Spain is now one of the world’s most affected countries.
Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez on Saturday warned the country’s residents that “the worst is still ahead of us”.
“We have to prepare emotionally and mentally for some very tough days to come,” he said in a televised speech to the nation.
– We still haven’t been hit by the strongest, most devastating wave. It will test our material and moral capacity to the extreme, the 48-year-old Social Democratic Prime Minister said.
Spain imposed a state of emergency on March 14 for a duration of 15 days. The government will extend it by another 15 days. It writes Spanish media.
The country has asked its 46 million inhabitants to stay home.
It is only allowed to move outside to do much-needed work, to buy food and medicine or to ventilate its dog.
Only Italy and China have recorded more corona deaths than Spain.
Italy is the hardest hit country in terms of deaths. Nearly 5,000 coronas infected people have died during the outbreak.
The outbreak began in central China at the end of December last year. However, it has since spread to the entire globe. Europe is the current epicenter.
