Health care Human resources management
The main aim of the human resource manager is to develop a plan that seeks to expand acute hospital facilities to meet the needs of the growing community. Generally, various steps should be taken to improve the effectiveness of human resources management in the hospital.
Part 1
Diverse trends in health care have adversely affected the healthcare sector in many hospitals across the world. In the acute hospital in my area, two major trends seem to have adverse effects on service delivery and the creation of a global workplace. To begin with, the healthcare care of employees is one major problem affecting the hospital. In my own opinion, the facility needs to build a particular room in which the workers of the hospital can be advised on how to prevent themselves from ailments. Either, there is a need to provide them with a working environment in which they are free from contacting various diseases. At times, workers should also be vaccinated against various conditions when the need arises (Nunn et al., 2018). For instance, more space should be provided to reduce congestion of workers, whereby they may get into diverse forms of injury or chances to infect each other infectious diseases. Secondly, the hospital needs to create a productive global workplace in which the information communication technology system of the hospital should be improved. Notably, the workers of the hospital originate from diverse social, ethical as well as infrastructural areas. Also, people in different regions of the world should have ease in accessing the adverts of the hospital and apply comfortably from where they may be. Importantly, through ensuring that the employees’ health is taken care of, they will eventually provide better services and more so for long periods, which in turn increases the competitive advantage of the hospital. Besides, an improved global workplace will help the hospital to source well trainees and qualified personnel from different areas in the world, thereby enhancing the quality of service in the hospital. Part 2
The human resource manager should create a strategic partnership with the organization through the provision of leadership at all levels of the organization. Additionally, he should ensure that there are sufficient resources and that all the employees are well trained and equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to handle their duties correctly (Bratton & Gold, 2017). By acting as an example by providing a supervisory role in the hospital to monitor the turnover of events in each department in the hospital. This will encourage the leaders in various departments to act accordingly hence improved quality of service in the hospital. Finally, there is a need to ensure that there is unity between the employees. Moreover, ensuring the motivation of workers is critical to ensure that they love their jobs and find the value of their services.
Part 3
The standard casual model of human resources management is the best model for this acute hospital. In this model, there is the consideration of the overall aim of the hospital. Through the management plan of the human resource, all other departments are evaluated as well as the intended projects to be undertaken. The values are then compared and assessed so that measures are taken to avoid losses. This then results in improved performance and financial gain, which justifies the model. Financial improvement is the main aim of implementing the model in any organization.
Part4
Through evaluation, the performance of an organization in the past is checked and compared to its presence using a SWOT analysis strategy (Leskaj, 2017). Each leader must take their roles and responsibilities keenly enough to ensure that all the departments work to accomplish the intended objective. Organization managers should ensure that every department works to achieve the desired goals and objectives of the hospital. Importantly, the senior leaders in the company should work in hand with the human resource manager to ensure that they provide resources, especially capital, to improve the services of the hospital.
Part 5
Employment laws are against employers who offer job opportunities in terms of race, gender, origin, sex, pregnancy, religion, or any other form of discrimination. However, different countries may have additional laws and regulations concerning this law to govern certain matters according to their beliefs and customs and or the nature of work. Therefore, the employers of the acute hospital should avoid such instances by all means, as this may affect their operations. They should offer jobs based on academic and professional qualifications rather than the forms mentioned above of discrimination. This will intern improve their ratings; hence people from different parts of the globe will apply for jobs when they advertise, thereby giving them chances to choose the best-qualified healthcare workers.
