Holocaust Documentary

Holocaust is a world war II which turned into a genocide. The Jewish Europeans fought this war. World war II was fought between the years 1941 and the year 1945. It was fought across all the places in Europe that were occupied by the Germans. Nazi German and its collaborators also challenged this war. This war saw close to six million Jews being murdered, which sums up to two-third of the total population of the Jewish in the European community.

In this discussion, we are going to breakdown what caused the war and what events occurred in this war. The Jewish did not make a lot of attempts in this war because they didn’t have access to firearms, and this let to defeats and several deaths being registered in their side. Enemies also surrounded them. These enemies included the Nazi collaborators who were willing to give the enemy the support and easy penetration into their territory. This means the Jewish stood alone in this fight against the Nazis. These fights existed even France, Russia, and Yugoslavia country; in these countries, the Jewish still could stand alone against the giant Germans who had weapons. The Jewish fought in the forest, and even in the death camps, they could still resist.

Their leader Adolf was against the Nazis was inferior, and this was seen as a threat to German racial and the whole community (Bock ). The Nazis ruled in German for many years. All these years, the Jewish people were being persecuted occasionally. They had only the final solution to end this problem, and that’s the rise of the Holocaust. Mass killing centers were constructed in camps and occupied in Poland. Those who were targeted included the Jewish people, those of other races, those you differ both ideologically and politically. Even those who had different behaviors were not spared in the Holocaust. Sadly, in this Holocaust, we have more than one million innocent children who perished in this war.

Adolf Hitler did not start this anti-Semitism in Europe. This was a term that was there in the early 1870s. There was much hostility in this time towards the Jewish people. It was evident way before after the roman authorities a temple that belonged to the Jewish in Jerusalem which made the Jews to leave Palestine.

Adolf Hitler, who was born in 1889 in Austria, isn’t clear when he joined the uprising. He served in the German army in World war II. After the war, Hitler joined the National worker’s party. He blamed the Jewish for when their country was defeated in 1918. The worker’s party was known in English as the Nazis. The Jewish are entirely responsible for those that happened to Germans. Most of the world war II casualties were people between age 70 to 85.

There were the leading causes of world war II, and it included the following—the first world war, which saw German economically and politically fragile. There was a failure by other countries to react, and this was among the keys that contributed to the outbreak of world war II. Britain and France were also weak since the first world war left them with the inability to help the Germans in stabilizing the arising world war II. Britain also had felt that the treaty they had signed with the Germans was very harsh to them. This means the British, by all means, tried to avoid another war. Also, there was a policy introduced by Hitler called aggressive foreign policy in 1933-1939, which boosted his confidence. This resulted in bolder actions by Hitler.

The USA, too, and the Russian community played some critical roles in the outbreak of world war II. They followed isolation policies that kept themselves away from any different position as much as possible. The USA did not join the league of nations. They avoided any political-related wars and political ideology differences.

The databases of the Holocaust casualties, including the victims and survivors, indicate that over six million died(Anders ). It’s unclear though on the exact number of deaths, but it exceeds six million people. The fight was concentrated mostly on the Jewish camps hence registering more deaths. There was an operation called Operation Reinhard. This was the most extensive murder campaign in the Holocaust. The process began in March 1942, and It took one year nine months to stop. They targeted three camps, which included Belzec, Treblinka, and Sobibor. Its core target was to eliminate every Jew in German. They made mass killings and aided this using a gas chamber technology that killed masses of people.

Hitler, on his plan for a final solution, he relied on mobilization and careful, efficient shuttling of millions of victims. Sometimes a whole Jewish community. They were transported in the European railway to the death camps where they were mercilessly murdered. There were allies who had very accurate information on the plan of the murder of the Jewish. They made no efforts to rescue anyone. They could have bombed the camps or even destroy the railway line leading them to where the Jewish were. Some warnings were circulated that after the war, the guilty will be prosecuted, but there was nothing done to prevent the genocide from going on.

Germans killed people from different groups in the Holocaust. The only people that were much targeted were the Jewish group as the Germans wanted to eliminate them. After the war, almost seven million people were living away from their homesteads. Among them are those who had collaborated with the Nazis due to fear of being killed. They had their homes destroyed, and the community scattered. The Jews had no home, and they didn’t have a place to return to. They had their homes destroyed and some occupied by strangers. Their families were already separated and dispersed. They had starved and suffered from malnutrition. They had to embark on searching for their loved ones and now starting on what their future had in store.

Many Jews were living in the camps after world war II. The British were forced to settle the Jewish problems after seeing them suffer without their originality. They were offered a place in the British known as Palestine, and the Jewish were brought to the Palestine land.

In around 1945 and 1946, the Jewish witnessed the first trials of the people who started the world war, including the Nazis. They included 22 Nazi party officials who organized and mobilized the world war, which threatened peace and caused genocide.

After the war, which ended on second September 1945 and when peace was restored, there were memorial built in remembrance of those perished in the war. There is a United States Holocaust memorial museum. There is also a memorial in berlin of the murdered Jews, which visitors have been visiting since 2005.
