What is CBD oil?
The origin of CBD oil dates far back to the post-modern world; where influential people at that time used marijuana and hemp for different reasons, mostly therapeutic. The use of such drugs was limited owing to the restrictions posed on the drug at that time. These restrictions further lead to more research and studies on the drug, which also led to the discovery of CBD oil.
The common belief is that CBD oil is found in cannabis plants; however, this is not entirely true since various plants contain different quantities cannabinoids with varying effects. CBD oil is mainly extracted from hemp- cannabis Sativa, which provides low volumes of tetrahydrocannabinol commonly known as THC, which is responsible for producing psychoactive effects.
