The technology was the underlying factor in last presidential elections in the united states of America, debates, soundbites, and scandals defined the election through the internet. Emails online voting, electronic voting booths, and voter data mining have become the political mainstream, but the influence of technology in the American political landscape extends beyond election day. Social networking has become the new press briefing; the use of Twitter by politicians as a mode of information and news transfer to the mass is the new thing, and it has simplified things, but some are using such platform as a form of misinformation. The spread of fake news is on the rise, thus defining the new political era as easy; there is no need for press briefings but also as one which is dangerous and tricky due to misinformation. All these reasons have put the power of the President in question. (Fullmer, 2015).

Yes, the use of the Presidential executive power currently is consistent as per accordance with Article II of the U.S. Constitution. By reading Article II, it sounds like the President has the same executive power as first established. But there is a clear separation of power as the President cannot declare war in the current era, it is limited by Congress, among other limitations.

The constitution system does protect liberty through its three branches of government. But it did not account for all the aspects. One of these is the consistency and efficiency of people in positions of power simply not adhering to their mandate constitutionally as directed in their jobs. There are checks and balances to individual liberty, but as a collective, there are no checks, this makes the two-party system a mistake or an oversight. Multiparty system of government has destroyed many countries throughout history, mainly European countries, this factor limited the founders of the nation to a two-party system. leading This has curtailed a lot of liberty even during the presidential election. The term interest groups tare not mentioned in the constitution about skeptics new that individuals would come together and attempt to use the government in their favor. James Madison cautioned of the dangers of such factions who would organize around such matters that they felt strongly about to the detriment of the whole society. He believed limiting these factions was worse than facing the evils they might produce since it would be violating individual freedoms. It was best to let the wings be, and in the long run, they would compete against each other. Some of these factions have flourished in both public and private domains, but others are underrepresented. For the above reasons, I do agree with James Madison. (McKissick, 2001).

The Feature of our elections that preserve our liberty is the right to vote. And also to vote for terms of the people in the office. They are not in the office permanently. If we do not agree with their conditions, we can vote them out for the most part. Citizens have the free right to vote if they are of proper age. People have the right to vote for who they want. Changes that could be seen in electoral votes, but more voices from the united states citizens would be heard regarding what we have now. The United States citizens in Territories should also be heard.

During slavery, those in bondage did not have a voice in the government and also those elected into government. Those in slavery were a substantial population of the American people. Slavery was behind in the development of the government. Slavery was perceived as free labor. The incorporation of the slave population significantly increased the voting population, which in turn increased the number of electoral votes that a state has. This increase gave the country a more excellent voice in Presidential elections, as seen in today’s politics. (McAdam, Kloos, 2014).
