On a separate note, I want to explore as soon as possible on the possibility to co-fund a vibratome. Since this is the crucial equipment that I need soon, I am planning to use my remaining funding this year on it. The machine cost 18.5kSGD, including GST. I have almost 9k SGD equipment/OOE and therefore would need an additional 9.5k – 10k for that. Do you know if any lab would be interested in that?
Kind wishes,
Chon
p.s. The model I chose is Precisionary VF-210-0Z, which includes all the latest tech for a smooth surface, except that the depth feeding is manual. The depth resolution is 10um, which is sufficient for our purpose (~200um).
The 18.5 K SG(include GST) is calculated based on 14605 USD *85% (discount for this month) + 600 USD shipment. The accessories seem unnecessary to me.
