Corruption is well defined as the way of criminal offense and dishonesty by an organization or an individual who is charged with the responsibility of authority to gain access to illicit benefits or even the abuse of authority and power bestowed upon them for someone’s private gain (Tatham, 2013). This is by the fact that the executive arm of government employed the judiciary as a tool to intimidate rivals and opponents with politically-motivated issues.
