HOW TO AVOID PLAGIARISM
Plagiarism is a serious offence that can result in to disregard for a paper yet creating all the information required for a paper is not easy. Nixon Z. (2018). It is easy to find a rewriter of your work but not easy to add that information to your work and therefore it is important to edit your research paper carefully before turning it in to the class. Understanding the fate of plagiarism is critical in formulating steps to stay safe from its trouble ant the steps include; Asking friend and the instructor helps a lot understand the guidelines and as well prepare the writer ideally with content of the write-up, Starting the work early gives enough time for research on the paper and to think expansively on the content. Writing in a rush can easily result to mistakes, avoiding the use of all information found on sources and rather including some of your own insight to add value. This requires extensive research till a point where the information matches, information from internet sources should also be quoted. Internet sources information is also someone’s work and credit should be given,paraphrasing the source work without changing the meaning. Rewording is fine but the source has to be cited, using quotation when directing quoting someone is a way of giving credit and it saves one from accusation for plagiarism, you have to understand the standards for the paper in order to cite correctly because citing means nothing if done incorrectly, though it is a requirement, proofreading is good to ensure you have correctly cited all the sources. It’s a simple thing to do but it gives results. Other steps are checking the plagiarism. There are many plagiarism checkers online and it would be good to run an article to avoid plagiarism and finally create a reference page at the end of the paper adding to the list of references included during the writing. It should be done while still writing to avoid missing some points after the write-up.
