This viewpoint has a rich history tracing back to Charles Darwin, who was the first person who thought that genetics and evolution affect human behavior. Charles Darwin suggested that natural selection determines whether future generations inherit some characteristics. This discovery or ideas make it clear that survival traits are passed to future generations more than any other. The biological argument is one that focuses on personal challenges and their consequent reactions. Low self-esteem, for example, can be explained as the aftermath of unfortunate early age development. Other people may, however, view low self-esteem as a character that is caused by association and interaction. This case, from a biological standpoint, is analyzed by determining the biological origin of such behavior. Biological roots may be problems of the mind or factors of genetics that may cause low self-esteem. The technology of studying the nervous system has advanced over the years; therefore, supporting and strengthening this perspective. There are equipments that helps to observe the development of the brain, diseases, and other factors that influence behavior and brain functions. The biological argument is one of the best ways of understanding human behavior since it is scientific. The only major shortcoming is that it ignores other factors that could affect behavior, including emotional pressure and cultural issues. However, the biological strategy helps psychologists to know more about human thinking ways, thus come up with advanced solutions.

The psychological approach is another way of tackling and understanding human behavior. Psychology is the practical use of information regarding the activities of man, including work and education. This is the science of human behavior, and it is also, by extension, a social and natural discipline. Therefore, the primary focus is to interpret how practices of human beings affect social change through physiological and neurological functions. This view explains and seeks clarity on behavior, human interaction, and the mind conscience. Psychology also aims to describe the experiences of people and their behavior as it unfolds. Psychology as a discipline has subsections that majors in different areas like the development of human beings, health, and the law.

Consequently, there are numerous branches of psychology. Comparative psychology is a branch that studies the mind and behavior of animals instead of people. Psychology focuses on people, but understanding the behavior of animals is also essential for comparison. Personality psychology is another branch that is concerned with the personalities of people; this includes behavioral patterns and ways of thinking. This study examines the development of the brain throughout a lifetime and how people change their perception and actions. There are other branches like quantitative psychology that applies mathematical models in research regarding human behavior.

The social dimension examines the interaction of people among themselves and how they affect each other. Social instances influence people’s thoughts, emotions, and actions. People tend to alter their way of life, depending on the situations they face. For example, when individuals are exposed to new and unfamiliar situations, they will copy from others. Social psychology examines interpersonal and intrapersonal topics. Intrapersonal levels are those that are concerned with individual traits like emotions and self-image. Interpersonal levels are those who are concerned with interaction with groups or other individuals. The interpersonal related topics include relationships, reactions to situations, and discrimination. Social evaluation of human behavior is based on the way people perceive experiences and how their perceptions affect their emotions, mindset, and character. This view of human behavior seeks to understand individuals in the social scene.

Human behavior originates from three significant sources, which are desire, emotion, and desire. The various sources imply that human behavior is a particular and crucial aspect of society. The three dimensions of explaining human behavior show that several factors influence the activity of man. Firstly, the upbringing and emotional support that is availed to an individual. Secondly, the environment an individual grows in plays a significant role in the development of character and behavior. Finally, the societal issues like interaction; personal attributes like aggression are a good reflection of man’s response to the demands of the society. Human behavior can be shaped and reshaped over the lifetime of a person. Psychologists state that if the right factors are affected efficiently, then people can successfully influence their behavior. The ability to manipulate the various factors that affect human behavior will ensure that individuals can attain any behavioral change or attribute they desire.
