The essay entails the constitution of the United States of America. A brief history and some of the sections it comprises. It also goes in-depth to explain how some of the articles have affected various branches of the government.
The constitution of the United States serves as the supreme law of the country. The structure has a total a preamble and the seven principal parts known as the articles. (Tooker, 2017) Categorized into three main parts. Part one is known as the Preamble. It gives elaborates on the reasons for the constitution and the federal government. The second part comprises the seven articles, which show the structure of the government, while the last section shows how the law can be changed. Before written, there was several series that took place between the year 1787 and 1788 in Philadelphia. Over 200 hundred years have passed since then. Between that period and today, it has gone through twenty-seven amendments have been made. Out of this twenty-seven, there were ten of which were so pressing. Some of them include the bill of rights and the reconstruction amendments. The older constitution embraced the central government, which had less power. But as time passed by changes were made
After drafting, it headed to Congress for more clarification and approval. It was then approved and forwarded to different states. More debates then are done, and by the end of it, all eleven states passed it, and this led to the elections. The most crucial aspect was the bill of rights that gave a chance to liberty. Some of the issues included the abolishment of slavery, providing equal opportunity for all, and the formation of transparency election body.. The constitution of the United States has various parts, of which a few areas below.

The article of ten sections. Some of these sections include;

The executive comprises of four significant parts some of which includes;

The constitution was to expound on issues and aspects not well understood. It also does acts as a mirror to show where the mistakes lie, hence those involved to correct the mess. The constitution act as a compass to show both the government and the civilians in the correct direction. However, the structure today has a significant impact on the major branches of the government, as discussed below.
- The Legislature
the constitution states the legislature is the only branch of the government in charge of making the laws of the land. The assembly is, however, limited to only two parts. That is the House of Representatives and the Senate. The constitution also limits the number of senators in the states. And has powers to dictate who to be elected. The members of the House of Congress can only be in power through the votes from people. Thus will serve for a period not exceeding two years. Qualifications require at least twenty-five years of age and a citizen of the State for seven years. When it comes to the Senate, only two senators required from each State. It does not matter the number of people living in a particular state. For one to qualify as the senator must be residing in the State, they wish to represent and should be at least 30 years and above. One should also be a citizen for a period not less than nine years
However, it has some powers, according to the constitution. It is the only body in the country that is capable of drafting and passes legislation. Apart from that, the structure allows the legislature to borrow money on behalf of the nation. In the case of insecurity, the assembly has the mandate to declare war, whether local or international.
- The Executive
It is one of the branches of the government which is in charge of running the daily activities of the government. It is headed by the president, who is elected national wide by the citizens, as mentioned in the constitution. The constitution gives the executive the authority to make an alliance with other nations, which might show interest in the United States. The executive also can choose the methods it can use to in running the country. In addition to this, it appoints the federal judges, including the head of various departments. The constitution also gives the executive the mandate to nominate the United States ambassadors to represent the country in other countries. But on the other side, the structure allows the removal of the president and other federal officials. It might involve the case of corruption, abuse of office, or treason. It leads to the removal from office through a process of impeachment
- The Judiciary
The constitution has given the judiciary powers over all the federal courts in the land. According to the bench, the highest court in the country is the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court has the full powers over other courts and that its decision is final. Once a judge is appointed, they can serve as long as they live unless they choose to resign or occurrence of natural calamity. The constitution gives the Supreme Court to handle cases about the ministers and the ambassadors. However, the structure allows one to defend themselves and instruct the court to listen to both sides. Then punishment is to be administered according to the weight of the evidence. According to the constitution, one is not guilty until there is enough evidence to prove that.
Conclusion
Long ago, before the establishment of the constitution, people were living in total darkness as they did not know their rights.(Zink, J. R. (2017). The government was also in chaos as the officials did not know their roles and responsibilities. Hence since its establishment, the constitution has brought order and sanity and has ensured human rights are protected. Besides, it provides the government does not abuse its powers but serves the most inept of the citizens. Yes, it may not be perfect and may affect some branches of the government. But it correct to conclude that the constitution provides room for changes commonly known as the amendments.
