Importance of education

Education is a tool useful in impacting knowledge into individuals. (Musgrave, P. W. 2017). Many people retire early and get to face unplanned reality. This is caused by unpreparedness for such. In many instances, education has been perceived as for young adults, seeking to establish a foundation for their lives. However, I beg to differ. Education promotes flexibility, whereby an individual can partake in anything he/she wishes without the fear of failure. It enhances the chances of increasing income, which are beneficial to a person’s life.

Most importantly, it gives a person more skills to finish what he/she started. As such, one can see that education is a vital element of a person’s life, in terms of getting successful in what the person is doing. This paper focuses on personal reasons why I chose to join Strayer University at this time of life while exploring the benefits accrued to it.

Many adults find themselves ending their college education earlier than they expected. This could be attributed to several factors, such as family issues. In my case, I have been working in a fast-food company after the termination of my college education. I have fast always dreamed of having my own companies and employing people. Schooling at Strayer University gives me the chance to complete what I started since I still have the dream. I seek to gain more skills and knowledge on how to run and manage a business. These skills can only be found by getting an education.

Moreover, I have a family consisting of three children. I love helping them in their work. Besides, I want to provide them with everything they require. That means I have to get informed so that I can be in a position to handle their welfare. Children could prove to be a burden for an unprepared parent. That is the reason why I seek to get back into school to learn the essential and crucial aspects of children’s growth life cycle. That way, I will be able to attend to their needs, psychologically, mentally, spiritually, and financially. There is no other perfect place to learn these critical tools other than a school.

Moreover, I set to be adequately resourceful. I want to have my family well catered for in terms of financial resources. So is the case with my business, which I intend to start after completing my education. Lack of finances leads to uncalled and unworthy escapades that lead to adverse effects. As such, I do not want money to be a reason I did not bring my family well. Having education gives me a chance to further a career, as well as gain crucial insights into the utilization of finances. That way, I will not have problems finding my family, as well as investing in my company.

Overly, education serves to impact people with knowledge. The knowledge acquired helps people in different aspects of life. The thirst for this knowledge has made me get back to School. I will learn how to be flexible in terms of careers, gain more knowledge to finish what I started as well as increase my revenue income. That way, I will be able to maneuver through life’s challenges. Therefore, joining college at this time of my life gives me more benefits that enable me to counter life hindrances and challenges.
