Cultural references should be minimally used as well. While conversing to an individual of different ethnic background it’s good to avoid referring to examples related to your cultural backgrounds. For instance you should not refer to pieces of art related to your ethnic background such as movies and songs because you will be confusing the other person. For instance for the Americans they love protecting their personal space and they always feel insecure when one stares to their eyes or gets close. Men and women communication conflicts are so extensive especially in single gendered group.
