The author claims that the gap between the richer and the poor is becoming wider; the richer are becoming reacher while the poor are becoming poorer. According to this website, the critical functions of UNESCO are to eliminate poverty, facilitate sustainable development, promotion of peace as well as an intellectual dialogue through education, culture, science information and communication

This website summarizes the roles of WHO being responsible for public health across the world, and that it facilitates research agendas and inspires the translation, generation, and distribution of valuable knowledge within the health sector. These responsibilities are centered on the assessment of WHO’s relative advantage as one of the key players in the intergovernmental system.
