Defaming a person to lower their self-esteem or to gain fame among a group of people is against Islamic law, theology, and philosophy, as stated in the Quran, chapter 49, verse 11. Additionally, Quran chapter 53 verse 32 encourages believers to remain pure and fully committed to the ways of God. Verse 32 states that God knows a man during the time of their creation from the soil and when they are fetuses in the womb. Suspecting another believer is against Islamic law, theology, and philosophy, as stated in the Quran, chapter 49, verse 12. The Quran says that doubting another person is a sin; therefore, believers should shun from such practices. Similarly, blackmailing each other is a sin, as stated in verse 12 of the Quran. According to the Quran, blackmailing is comparable to skinning other believers’ and eating the person’s flesh without cooking. Hence the same way people would have hated eating their brother’s skin is the same way they should avoid engaging in blackmailing activities.
God also encourages Muslim believers to inculcate trust for those who are worthy of their faith. Hence Islamic law, theology, and philosophy encourage trust among believers. Additionally, Quran chapter 4 verse 58, the verse states that those involved in conflicting situations in which they have to offer a verdict, then they should judge others fairly without favoritism.
Moreover, Quran chapter 5 verse 8 states that Islamic believers should never relent in their pursuit of justice. The verse also says that Islamic believers should acts as witnesses for the ways and might of God amongst other believers. The verse state that no believer should engage in stealing from orphan at least not until they attain adulthood. Instead, people are encouraged to increase financial support to an orphan and never take from them until they grow old enough to cope. Furthermore, the Quran encourages that whenever a believer is a witness in the court of law, they should have provable evidence. The ways of Lord in the Quran involves remaining truthful even when a relative is a culprit Quran, chapter 31, verse 18 discourages boosting from believers.
