This paper seeks to describe the issues linked to the 7th program in the MDGs, MDG 7: Ensure Environmental Sustainability and reduce child mortality. It placed the political and the economic prosperity of the country at the hands of the people residing within the nation. They also aim at mainstreaming the MDGs into the process of national development. There is also the need to localize and domesticate the MDGS agenda to the people in the country.
