They start believing that they are better than others. That it cant happen to them. A good CEO should be able to understand that leadership growth is not inevitable. Certain factors might derail it. Leaders need to identify all the risks involved before undertaking projects. As said above, a good CEO should be innovative. However, innovation also comes with its own risk and limitations. A good CEO should identify a backup plan to ensure the sustainability of the organization. This can be derailed when a CEO adapts the superiority complex.

In my workplace, teamwork is an integral part of the organization. The organization banks highly on teamwork to ensure the execution and effectiveness of activities in the organization. My leader works by identifying the needed change in the organization and by bringing us on board with the changes in the organization. This makes us feel included and welcomed in the organization. This is a motivating factor for us as our needs and input are considered necessary. I would recommend this type of leadership highly as it has influenced success in my organization.

It is important to note that we all possess leadership skills and abilities. It only takes us some time to dig deeper into these skills. When I was newly appointed for my position at work, my team was tasked with the responsibility of looking for an appropriate place to hold meetings and celebrations. This was some sort of field excursion. We were a group of five people. We decided to split to cover more distance in our search for the perfect place. It is essential to note that in all this time, we had not appointed any leader. When we came back, we had identified two sites, and the teams were split between which place to go with.
