Learning preferences require an individual to choose conditions regarding learning, which will help in retaining information. The common conditions to put into consideration are social, physical, emotional, environmental, and emotional attributes (Khazan 4).  Depending on the type of material a person is learning, different people prefer to learn in different places and at varying times. An individual has to discover the best circumstances in which they can learn. When it comes to learning styles, different people choose varying methods to introduce a new way. An individual may wish to read a book or listen to an audio to gain new information (May 11). It is crucial for an individual to know their learning styles and preferences to benefit from the life of learning. Understanding learning selves will improve the ability to acquire more knowledge. It is through learning preferences that an individual is actively involved in a learning process since it enhances motivation and self-esteem.

My score for all dimensions ranged from nine to eleven. This is an indication that I have a strong preference for active, sensing, visual, and sequential learning condition. The assessments seemed to match what I thought were my strengths and weaknesses because they revealed the conditions which help me gain new knowledge quickly (Kaufman 7).  For instance, I like practical exercises and experiences to acquire new knowledge quickly. It is easier to remember what I saw than what I heard.

The assessments will help me focus on preferences that enable me to learn effectively.  This will involve learning with things that are real and practical exercises. I will also use trial and error to make sure that I achieve my learning outcomes.
