Music Modernization

Camera Movement and Music as Narrator

Tilt

Pan

Pan is horizontal movement of a camera while the base is asp fixed to a certain point. The position of the Camera is not moved but its face. The method can be used when a musician wants to establish a certain sense. (Block 2)

Zoom

Zoom is the most used tool in filming. Zoom is used as a clutch when someone is video graphing and is not sure that it can add any value to the shot. Zoom should be used creatively in out unexpectedly but an essential person or an object in the shot. Zooming should be quicker to add prowess on the piece placed first. (Block 3)

Pedestal

This mode of moving the camera vertically up or down. The pedestal can be applied in studios camera when the narrator is supposed to adjust the height. (Block 2)

 

 

Dolly

Dolly involves the movement of the whole camera Infront and then backwards, especially on an object such as tracks.  To use a dolly, you must make sure that the track is very stable and can allow movement of fluids (Block 2)

Truck

Dolly and trucking can be used interchangeably only in trucking the camera is being moved to form the right to the left (Block 2)
