Methodology

Research Design

The methodology chapter involves the research design, research tools, data gathering and the study sample.  The research will use a semi-structured interview where five questions will be formulated to serve the interview. The interview will contain data that will have multiple choices while the interview will be self-explanatory, and the language will be simple to ensure that all participants will understand (Longhurst, 2013). The area that the study will be conducted will focus on society, individuals and the industries. The main reason for conducting the research is due to its positivity in trying to understand the major aspects that hinder gender equality.

Data Collection

The study will also use data collection that will be evaluated using geographical representation. Through such representation, the details will help the researcher to use the data in ensuring that they will use the appropriate data during the research analysis. Therefore by analysing the relevant data, the research is assured that its findings will promote reliable information which will be self-explanatory and easier to read.

The chapter will also use a project plan that will help in providing empirical data which will help the researcher to understand the study at hand concerning the barriers that surrounds women in leadership. The study will also involve analyses and data interpretation, where the present data will provide evidence that aligns with gender equality. Also, the specs of the case study will provide a study that will be well- represented during the research design. Consequently, the research design will purpose to implement the research by ensuring that there is enough evidence provided by the sample size by providing accurate data from the participants. The study will also create a hypothesis that will provide and evaluate evidence that associates with women regarding the main obstacles that women come along in search of gender equality.

The study is also set to use stratified sampling, where it helps analyse the group where the participants will be put in groups depending on their specific characteristics. The primary reason for using the method is from the fact that Casino sector usually has various women categories. Therefore, to get accurate results stratified approach combined with the other techniques will be necessary to the researcher. With the sampling method, the researcher will be trying to examine the dominant challenge that faces the women where the data collection will involve both male and female groups to avoid receiving biased information (Kumar, 2019).

Primary data collection will also be viable where materials such as archived documents and online articles will help to provide extra information on the research questions (Fletcher, 2017). The significant advantage of using the primary data collection method is the researchers will get verified information concerning the research.

Research Approach

The research approach that will be employed involves an inductive approach as a way of determining the research validity. Therefore, the research will mainly collect data that is relevant to the study, which will require the researcher to be more specific and become more general (Kumar, 2019). For the case of the study at hand, the data will have to be analysed before getting to any conclusions. The method poses a different picture away from the deductive type of approach since it tends to focus more on the hypothetical formation that is narrowed down from the research questions and scope of the research. The inductive method seems advantageous when you compare it from deductive since it involves small samples like the case in the Casino Sector research. As well, the technique possesses few cons where it might compromise the reliability of the study due to the usage of the small sample during making conclusion period. Therefore, the researchers need to be extra careful in ensuring to avoid such instances.

Validity and Reliability

Research validity and reliability will help the researchers conduct quality research where the methods and the test measures will have to be critically defined to assist in the research consistency (Humphries, 2017). As usual, the validity measurement of research relies on the regular and accurate system that helps in getting the actual measurements before reaching to any conclusion. Therefore the study on gender equality in the Casino industry will involve in data measurement to ensure that the given results have a correspondent nature with the theories under evaluation.

Ethical Considerations

Ethical considerations are vital during the research process and that researchers should ensure that they follow it adherently (Mohajan, 2018). The current research will be subjected to ethical issues that will enhance the research objectivity. The study will ensure that all participants will volunteer freely, considering the implications of the study. That will help in gaining the right information from the participants other than forcing them, which can lead to erroneous data.  Therefore, it will involve the signing of a consent letter which will also give the participant freedom to decline from participating if they feel that the research does not concern them in any way. That criterion will also help to avoid inaccurate information which might end up sabotaging the study, yet there is minimal research of gender equality in the Casino sector. The research will also be carried under the very confidential ground that why we decided to use questionnaires, interviews, sampling and primary data collection methods. That will act as a surety for the participant that no third party will have access to the information that will give to the researchers. Therefore, the research will be posed to be mutually beneficial to both parties, thus maintaining dignity. On the other hand, the researchers will ensure that no harm will happen to the respondents during and after the research making issues such as confrontation against the research rules and regulations.

Research Analysis

As a way of evaluating how the data will be useful to all stakeholders, an analysis will be conducted. The study will also involve ranking the data using excel, especially for the data that will be collected using the sampling method (Humphries, 2017. As well, the researchers will use the objective analysis in providing the correlation existing between independents and dependent variables which will pose direct and straightforward objectives.
