The microwave oven door with the screen helps observe the inside of the heating cavity, thus enhancing its safety and security. In other cases, the tempered screen is strengthened by ensuring that the door’s thickness is not less than 3mm. Chemically manufactured door screens are developed in a manner that articulates a higher internal stress per unit area, thus thermally strengthening the door (Tanaka & Kai, 2017, pp. 1).
