Marketing Advantage from a Company’s Logo

Marketing for companies is dependent on several factors. Among the most common factors playing a significant role in marketing is a company’s brand or logo. A company’s logo is very subtle in designing the extent to which customers and stakeholders receive a company. This paper focuses on two company logos that I find fascinating.

Favorite logo 1 

One of my favorite company logo is the IBM technology. The logo has the name IBM written in blue colors. The choice of color makes the design simple yet versatile. This logo makes the company have an appealing look, which is an over fir the stakeholders and clients. The simplicity of the logo makes it more appealing to the eye, combined with its glamorous blue color. The logo has helped the company deliver its services worldwide. The contextual understanding created by the appealing colors of the text in the logo is a perfect example of a marketing strategy designed on simple yet versatile design. (Ad, Adr, &Pascu, 2012).

Favorite logo 2

The second most favorite company logo is the Coca-Cola Company.  Its logo, in my opinion, is one of its most formidable tools for marketing. The logo contains “Coca-Cola” wording written in white color, embedded in a red background/ the choice of these colors could be construed to mean so much. However, a recent analysis concluded the meaning of these colors. (Ad, Adr, & Pascu, 2012).  The red color represents strength, passion, love, and energy. (Bottomley, & Doyle, 2006).  While the white color is a representation of innocence, peace, and humility. (Bottomley, & Doyle, 2006).  In my assertion, I believe the choice of these colors for the company has amassed them a favorable marketing advantage. This is because; the themes represented in those colors reflect the values and virtues that many individuals identify with..

Overly, the choice of a company’s logo determines its marketing strategy. Individuals love a company with a logo that reflects on issues they can relate to.
