Discussion: In order to survive in the community She Te displays a character of deceitful and greedy. At the beginning of the story, there are three gods that came on earth and were in search of a human being. No one was ready to accommodate them if they ceased to find one, they were to die. They moved everywhere until to the town of Setzuan, here no one was ready to have them spend a night except She Te, a town prostitute by then. Since the goods found a good person who could accommodate them they decided to repay her kindness with good money. Supporting evidence: After gaining wealth Yang Sun wants to get married to her, she thought She Te is a man.
Discussion: Having surety that she is a female she falls in love with Yang Sun after saving her from suicide in contract Yang Sun was not ready for marriage but only to gain She Te’s wealth. This was to bring great problem since the two are females even thou Yang Sun did not know She Ta was a lady. She Te only changed her gender security purposes.

Discussion: She Te is a woman who is good for herself. In the play female figure has been manipulated through functionalizing them with intention of achieving political goals. The features of masculinity and femininity in the play clearly show contradiction of gender in that for She Te to retain her wealth she had to change from her real name to She Ta. Topic Sentence 1: The woman got married to the first man without knowing he was a wolf.
Supporting evidence 1: When the woman married the man, he later went into the forest where he turned into a wolf.
Discussion: In Carters work a girl’s worst beast she can encounter is a forest is a man, not even the animals found there. In the story ‘’in the company of wolves” a woman marries a young man who later flees into the forest and turns into a wolf. The woman does not despair she remarries again and gets a son in which later the first husband who turned into a wolf comes and finds another man, he gets angry then attacks the woman calling her whore and the son. After the attack the man turns into a wolf, the second man comes and after finding what he has down he attacks him and kills him. When the woman sees the corpse of her first love she gets emotional, and cries, a thing which provokes the second husband who in return attacks her also. The wolf-man and the full-man did an abuse the woman.
Topic Sentence 2: In a wedding ceremony people are turned into wolves.
Supporting evidence 2: A witch who was in a wedding ceremony gets angry since the groom has chosen to marry another girl, so in revenge, she turns all the people in the ceremony into wolves.
Discussion: A man is who was engaged to a lady and had plans of marriage later during the wedding day, the marry changes and marries another girl. A wedding attendee’, a witch gets furious about that action and in revenge turns all the attendees into wolves
Topic sentence 3: A man marries a lady only to vanish on the wedding night
Supporting sentence 3: Just after the wedding, a man during that night excuses himself only to vanish away.
Discussion: The couple had a great wedding and had awesome plans ahead. Now after the wedding the couples are in their house, during the night the man excuses himself and goes out to excuse himself only to vanish away. This was a heartbreaking episode for the lady. This was an act of misuse from a man to a woman.
Conclusion
The feature of masculinity in this play has displayed how men misuse women for the gain of personal interests. The first man who married the woman didn’t care for her only to appear again when she has remarried and starts fighting for her. The man who left her first girl and married another caused a witch to turn the people in the wedding into wolves. Men in this play are seen taking advantage of ladies and misusing them. After the wedding a man chooses to leave her lady during the wedding night leaving her in agony.
