I am writing a memo to inform the company about the ways they should consider avoiding the decline in sales in the coming future. I discovered that the region’s retail section is always booming up as we approach a new shopping season, which also happens to be towards the end of the year. Through my research, the e-commerce market has predicted to attain the Dh level. The region is also expecting a flow of private sectors as they seek to invest in the area.
I also noted how online retailers are working to improve on their service delivery through high innovations on their chain and supply methods. Big stores like the Brick-and-mortar stores are working to see their e-commerce capabilities expanded. For the retailer to keep up with the competition, there is a need for the retailors to renovate both the front and the back of the store.
I realized that retailors should also improve their tactics to attract more in-store customers, and even online platforms through the integrated model. To achieve efficiency in the management of orders, workers in the store have to share real-time inventory discernibility.
I also realized that due to the rapid improvement in technology in the retail space, transparency has also increased; hence, the management of the retail shops should improve on their service models since the shoppers are not ready to tolerate lagging services. Retailers should consider having a good store for receiving and storing goods
According to my findings, for accurate access of items in the store, the management should ensure every item received is noted down, the time the item was received, the type of item that was received, and the condition of the item to ensure the easy and quick location of the items.
